We are based in a purpose-built physiotherapy and rehabilitation suite based at Bodnant Welsh Food Centre, Tal-y-Cafn in the beautiful Conwy Valley.

My name is Molly and I am a newly qualified Registered Physiotherapist. I am originally from Liverpool and studied at Keele University.

I work at Craven Complete both at the visit and doing home visits in the community.

My special interests include

  • Neurological Conditions
  • Stroke Rehab
  • Hand Therapy
  • Women’s Health
  • Back Pain
  • Massage

I pride myself on providing a holistic service, focusing on you as an individual as opposed to just treating the problem. By this approach, other factors that could be contributing to your problem can be healed resulting in a more long-term result. Education and evidence-based treatments also form the basis my treatment plans, as I want you to feel confident to independently manage the problems outside of the clinic space and beyond.

I am a friendly and approachable person, who wants to empower my clients. I look forward to meeting you!

Joel was in initially a physio student of ours during his 1st year. Now as a third-year, he is joining our team on our Lanzarote training camp where he will be on his elective placement with us. He will bring much more than physiotherapy to the camp as he is already a sports therapist, running coach and qualified nutritional counsellor. He will be an invaluable member of our coaching and physiotherapy team.

Joel has also agreed that he is going to support us with our UK Triathlon duties during their race season next year. He will be part of the Craven complete family, providing massage services for competing athletes.

Educating The Future

Craven Complete supports undergraduate physiotherapy students from Keele University who join us for practical training which is part of their BSc or MSc degree. They become part of our team at various times through the year for 3-6 week blocks. During this time, you may be asked if you would be happy to be assessed and treated by them.

To be able to offer this, both Barry and Lyndsay have undergone training at the university to make us practice (clinical) educators. We don’t just observe the attending students but also help them master some of the practical skills they learn in the classroom as well as teaching them additional ones!

Their attendance and practice is assessed whilst they are with us and their grade goes on to influence their final degree.

Craven Complete is one of the few private clinics to offer this service. We feel both proud and privileged to undertake the role of practice (clinical) educators for Keele University, contributing to the education of the students and providing them practical exposure to the real world.

Whilst we are able to teach the students a great deal, we also feel we learn from them. They help us maintain professional standards as well as teaching us new concepts and techniques as they are the next generation of therapists.
